MOV-e

MOV-E project aims to create a free, accessible opportunity for the self-development of physiotherapists, students of physiotherapy and other people who deal with people with musculoskeletal disorders. The project may also be helpful for academic teachers working with physiotherapy students, as exemplary scenarios for practical classes. The main objective of the project is the preparation of a 15-hour online open access course combining teaching of specific techniques and methods for the treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunctions with learning how to communicate with the patient. Due to the increasing migration and differentiation of societies, MOV-E wants to increase the competencies of physiotherapists not only as specialists in manual therapy but as people responsible for the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of the patient. To be effective in their role, physical therapists must follow the principle of lifelong learning.
