Creating a better future through innovative solutions in education
Promoting young people’s engagement in democracy for a more vibrant and representative democracy.
Connecting youth with democracy means recognising their unique way of engaging with politics. We must find ways to include young people more in democratic processes.
Young people are often seen as disengaged. In truth, they are deeply invested in issues that matter to them. Their forms of participation can differ from traditional approaches.
Additionally, youth face significant barriers that hinder their participation. Those include inadequate political education, limited access to decision-makers, and social inequalities. Promoting democratic engagement and giving more attention to youth-led initiatives strengthens democracy. Their participation highlights critical issues like climate change, education, and employment. It is essential for building resilient, inclusive democratic systems that reflect the needs of all citizens.
We dedicate ourselves to increasing youth participation in democracy. We actively work on projects that
remove barriers to young people’s engagement in democracy
provide them with the tools they need for civic engagement
enable them to voice their views in their communities
help to protect against ill effects of misinformation and disinformation
We use our skills in communication, research, and digital solutions to reach young people and key policymakers. We also raise awareness in society at large.
In doing so, we aim to create an environment where young people can drive democratic change, supported and recognised by society.
