A new leadership structure for a growing KIC

KIC management team: Anthony F. Camilleri, senior partner; Nina Agić, head of operations; Stefan Jahnke, head of programmes; Colin Tück, head of development.

Our KIC has grown. So we’ve changed how we lead it.

We’ve moved from a founder-led model to a management team that decides together. Here’s what’s changed, and what it means for you.

New roles, familiar faces

Four people now share responsibility for the KIC’s direction. Nina is our new hire, Stefan has taken on a new role, and Anthony and Colin continue in theirs:

  • Anthony F. Camilleri, senior partner – the strategic lead and face of the KIC, sets direction, builds partnerships, and drives new business.
  • Nina Agić, head of operations – the operational backbone, runs finance, HR, timelines, and our systems, including EU project reporting.
  • Stefan Jahnke, head of programmes – owns programme substance and quality, leads our project delivery, methodology, bids, and consistency across projects.
  • Colin Tück, head of development – sets the direction for our technology work and connects KIC’s development capacity with education policy and practice.

Nina has joined us to lead operations. Stefan’s new role recognises his leadership, expertise, and strong contribution to KIC over the past two years.

Why we changed

KIC has grown, and so has the range of work we do. We wanted more expertise close to every decision. So we built a team instead.

Decisions now sit with the people closest to the work. Each area now has a clear owner.

What this means for our partners and us

You’ll always know who to ask. People management, budgets, contracts, and reporting go to Nina. Project delivery, methodology, and quality go to Stefan. Partnerships, new work, and anything urgent go to Anthony.

More people can make day-to-day decisions now. That means quicker answers for you.

Whoever leads your project, it gets the same rigour and care as before. Quality checks and clear standards apply across the board, not just at the top.

Same work, more capacity

With this new organisational structure, we’re continuing to do what we’ve always done: connect education and employment through practical, evidence-based work.

Our expertise spans democracy and youth, digitalisation and interoperability, inclusive learning experience, micro-credentials, quality assurance in education, skills and qualifications systems, and work-based learning.

We deliver it through communication and outreach, consultancy and research in education, IT consulting and development, project management, and quality assurance.

Still the same KIC

We started as student union members who wanted better education. We’re still that group, just bigger, and better organised.

Work with us, and you’ll get what you always have: clear answers and solid work. There are simply more of us to ask now.

Thank you, Jasmina

Before we go, a word of thanks. Jasmina Poličnik stepped down as head of operations in May, and we’ve taken a little time to settle in before sharing this.

For years, she kept our finance, HR, and project timelines running smoothly. We’re grateful for everything she built here, and we wish her well.
