The project proposes to advance the development of the European Training Foundation (ETF) qualifications database. It helps countries build databases to manage and compare qualifications. This makes it easier to understand skills and education across different regions.

The goal is to create a network of qualification systems that work together. This involves consulting partner countries on creating compatible qualifications databases, enhancing the technical framework, and fostering collaboration with the European Commission.

The project maximises impact through standardisation and reuse of software components, ensuring economies of scale and robust qualifications intelligence.

• Help countries build their own qualification databases.
• Improve how data on qualifications is collected and shared.

KIC role

Our role includes capacity building, supporting ETF countries in developing national databases, and providing technical solutions to unify and manage qualifications data.

We help ETF partner countries focusing on the digitalisation of qualification systems. We apply the 4C framework (Context, Content, Construct, Connect), ensuring the training addressed regulatory, organisational, semantic, and technical aspects. Our expertise in building interoperable qualification databases was key in solving challenges related to diverse country needs, especially by aligning the program with Open Architecture guidelines. Our innovative eLearning approach enables practitioners to apply their knowledge, ensuring long-term impact and capacity building.
