The African Qualifications and Credentials Platform (ACQF QCP) aims to improve the recognition and transparency of qualifications across Africa. Here’s a brief overview of its main objectives:
- Facilitates comparability: Connects different national qualifications to promote understanding and trust between African education systems.
- Supports lifelong-learning: Encourages continuous education by allowing easy access to qualification data.
- Enhances mobility: Helps African students and professionals transfer their skills and qualifications across borders.

- Promotes collaboration: Involves African Union, European Union, and various national partners in its development.
KIC role
We turn what learners and education institutions need into clear technical guidelines. This helps us build the African Qualifications and Credentials Platform based on real needs. We also train ministry and agency staff on the basics of the ACQF and show them how to use the platform effectively.
