Our projects

Creating a better future through innovative solutions

Project description

The InclusiVET project aims to make VET Institutions more inclusive. It will create interventions to engage under-represented students in in their school’s life.

InclusiVET focuses on students at VET institutions. They attract a more diverse range of students and have a higher proportion of non-traditional students compared to higher education. These include adult students, lifelong learners, parent students, migrant students, and students with disabilities. VET curricula have traits that affect student engagement. Many students study short courses, spending little time in the institution. They spend a considerable amount of time on practical placements outside the institution.

InclusiVET

  • explores the engagement of students from diverse backgrounds in the life of their institutions.
  • improves policies, mechanisms and practices for inclusive engagement of all students regardless of their background and circumstances –
  • engages students in their teaching and learning journey
  • includes quality assurance and decision-making at the VET institution and beyond
