I studied Information and Communication Technologies in Aachen, Maribor, and Vienna. My career began while I was still a student, getting involved in student representation. Starting at the local student union, I later took on roles at national and European levels. This sparked my passion for education policy, IT interoperability, digitalisation, and quality assurance.
After my work with the European Students’ Union (ESU), I became a project manager for the E4 group. There, I helped establish the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR). Later, I served as EQAR’s Director for 15 years.
As a policy consultant, I focus on higher education, digitalisation, and quality assurance. At the KIC, I I do analytical work and manage projects. My focus lies on micro-credentials and making education more connected across Europe.
Outside work, I enjoy cycling around Ljubljana’s hills. On holiday, I explore the Balkans on longer tours.
