Project description  

The EngageAll project explores and promotes student engagement and civic participation in Professional Higher Education institutions as an important part of the student learning experience, regardless of the background and circumstances of individual students.

EngageAll aims to:

  • increase awareness and recognition of the significance of student engagement and civic participation in fostering the acquisition of key competences among all PHE students
  • encourage and support greater engagement of underrepresented PHE students within their institution, student life, local community and in relation to broader societal issues.
  • develop strategies and tools PHE institutions can apply to encourage, incentivise and facilitate student engagement & civic participation.

KIC role

Building on its extensive expertise in the areas of student engagement and inclusion, KIC collaborates with the partners in the development of all intellectual outputs and in particular co-leads the:

– Authoring of an online toolkit on student engagement & civic participation

– Development of a Student ambassador scheme, connecting students from diverse backgrounds with young people from underrepresented backgrounds in the community

– Creation of an online course on student engagement & civic participation

KIC furthermore acts as knowledge transfer specialist and supports the coordination and management of EngageAll, in particular in areas such as internal and external communications, dissemination, design of the project website and other project branding materials.
