The Digital Skills Playbook supports educators across Europe in improving students’ digital competencies at all educational levels. We’ve developed practical resources based on the European DigComp Framework, covering information literacy, communication, content creation, safety and problem-solving skills. The playbook provides tested teaching approaches for primary schools through to adult education, addressing both basic digital literacy and ethical considerations around AI and sustainability. It includes professional development guidance for educators, institutional assessment tools like SELFIE, and real-world case studies from across Europe. By bridging the digital skills gap, we’re helping 80% of Europeans achieve basic digital competencies by 2030.
