Your contribution matters

We’re calling for papers, case studies, and workshop proposals. Share your research, pilot programmes, or practical solutions. Selected speakers receive discounted registration and travel support.

Building on the last MCMC 2025’s in Zagreb (150+ participants, 56 speakers), our event is the forum where policy meets practice.

Whether you’re implementing micro-credentials at your institution, developing technical standards, or shaping education policy, your expertise belongs here.

Four themes shape our programme

  • Trust in the system – recognition, quality, and assurance: Building confidence in digital credentials through blockchain, verification systems, and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Innovation forward – technology reshaping education: Showcasing cutting-edge platforms, AI applications, and digital tools that make credentials work better.
  • Credentials for all – equity, access, and the labour market: Ensuring inclusive access to micro-credentials across different learner groups and contexts.
  • Skills on the move – portable skills and micro-credentials: Supporting workforce mobility through portable, stackable credentials that cross borders and sectors.

Plus, new to the MCMC, the micro-credentials practitioners’ studio.

Our the MC studio is  a practical entry point for those new to micro-credentials. It offers guidance on building and scaling micro-credentials, choosing the right tools, and navigating key design choices and trade-offs.
