Head of Operations
We need someone to handle the details so we can stay focused on the mission.
This is a senior leadership role alongside our CEO and Head of Programmes. It’s hands-on. You’ll manage finances directly, run HR processes, and oversee project operations across our portfolio. We offer a close-knit team, real responsibility, and genuine impact.
You’ll succeed in this role if you:
- have experience in HR and staff administration
- know your way around EU-funded project finance (Erasmus+, Horizon Europe)
- are comfortable working in a small team where you both manage and execute
- are based in — or ready to move to — Ljubljana, Slovenia
Knowledge of Slovenian employment law and familiarity with the Zoho suite are a plus.
Project Officer (educational innovation)
Do you want to work on projects that solve real problems in European education?
This is a hands-on R&D role. You’ll coordinate projects with international partners. You will help to write EU proposals, create deliverables, and carry out desk research. You’ll also travel around Europe for about four days each month to represent KIC at meetings, conferences, and workshops.
We’re looking for someone who:
- has research or project experience in educational innovation
- writes clearly and think analytically
- is fluent in English (other European languages are a plus)
- holds an EU work permit
